Happy Hump Day, lovelies! Y’all, it’s actually cold again in Dallas and believe it or not, it may even snow here on Friday! We’re all kinds of excited at our house even if the “snow” is just a couple minutes of flurries. With the constant highs and lows of Dallas weather, my winter wardrobe is a variety of pants and chunky knits and cute little dresses with fun booties. I have learned though that buying pieces that I can layer with or wear heels or boots with is key to getting the most wear out of my clothes.
I grabbed this adorable dress from Shopbop a couple weeks back and think it will be perfect for our crazy weather! I paired it here with some OTK boots, but could easily wear it with cute black booties or heels for those warmer weather days. I love the classic look of the collar, but the lace front detail is what really won me over. It’s such a fun feminine touch!
If you’re questioning the lace part and asking if it’s see through, I had that same question. I was actually able to wear a nude bra underneath and you couldn’t tell it was see through, but if you wanted extra security, you could easily wear a nude tank underneath since the dress is a looser fit.
