how to find affordable dresses for any celebration

The holiday season is here and that means lots of holiday parties and winter weddings. Trav and I kicked off the holiday season several weeks ago with a wedding for one of Travis’s co-workers, and this is the dress I wore!

When I went shopping for a dress I wanted to find a dress that I could wear to multiple events. I opted for a black dress so that I could change my look by wearing different jewelry, shoes, or colors. I love the feminine detail of this dress – the peplum skirt, the mesh details, and the bow on the zipper.

Because this little Milly dress ended up being so inexpensive, I wanted to find a bag I could wear with it. Small bags are in right now, so I was looking for a small, black bag. I found this patent leather Coach bag – such a cool 90s vibe, right? I honestly like that it has a strap, too, so that I don’t have to hold my clutch in my hand the whole time at an event.

Also, are you shocked how cute this Coach bag is because I was! When I think of Coach I typically think of larger bags and the C pattern that was so popular when I was younger. I love that this one is sleek and plain allowing it to be worn with almost anything!
