Happy Monday, loves! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! If you’ve been keeping up with me on instagram or snapchat (fleurdille), you’ve probably noticed that we’re in the middle of building a stone deck for a fire pit. And when I say “we” that means my hubby and his brother. They started this weekend and are hoping to be finished by next weekend. I can’t wait!
Have you ever found yourself typing in random key words into google like “pink ruffle dress” or “grey off the shoulder dress” followed by minutes and maybe even hours of clicking on every link that pops up to see if you can find what you want? Or, you might do what I do, which is search all of my top retailers websites to see who has the best version of whatever I am searching for. Well, I’ve got good news because there is someone out there that is making this situation a whole lot easier!
Octer is a company and service that aims to make online shopping as easy as it can be whether you’re shopping via your computer, your iPhone, or your tablet. Octer boasts of having the leading comparison feature to help consumers find the right product at the right price. All you do is head to octer.com, search your key word (“grey dress”), and then it populates dresses to fit your key word from a wide aray of retailers like Topshop, ASOS, Farfetch, Net-A-Porter, etc. You scroll down and find the one you like and then when you click the one you want, you are routed to that company’s website.
So for example, for today’s post I searched “off-the-shoulder dress” and discovered this dress in black (and grey), and when I clicked on the image I was routed to Nordstrom’s website to purchase the item. Super easy and I’m kind of addicted now because of how easy the process is and how many options you get when you search for a specific item.
