Hey, there! I’m so glad you’re here!
Last weekend I snuck away to Golden, CO. My sister is getting married this coming August and had several wedding-related appointments that I decided to tag along for. I am so happy I went because I got to see her gorgeous wedding venue, Blackstone Rivers Ranch, in person. I also got to meet with her wedding planner, which really helped her wedding vision come to life for us.
Another reason we decided to spend the weekend in Golden, CO, was to tour the city. All of the wedding guests will be staying in Golden, so we wanted to try out the restaurants and local shops to be able to better speak to them.
It’s been so warm here in Texas that I was beyond excited to wear some true fall outfits. I wore this coat the whole time and got several compliments. It’s an oversized fit (size down one) and crazy soft. It’s nice, too, because the oversized fit allows for lots of layering underneath.
I also ended up wearing these boots from Target for most of the trip. I was worried my feet would be so sore after walking all day in them since they’re cheaper, but the opposite ended up being true! I was so surprised by how comfortable they were! I highly recommend them!

I am obsessed with this whole look – the sweater is crazy comfy and the stripes on right on trend. The jeans are a splurge, but very worthy of a splurge. They fit very well, are very flattering, and have a stretch to them that makes them oh-so comfortable. These are the booties I talked about that were very comfortable!
This jumpsuit is one of those pieces that doesn’t look amazing on the hanger, but ends up being super flattering on. It looks so cute with booties, but when I wore it in Colorado I styled it with sneakers and an oversized coat.
This was my travel outfit for the flight home. I wanted to be comfortable but still look pulled together. I was more than excited to bust out these leggings again – wear them so much in fall and winter. They’re incredibly comfortable as they’re the right thickness with a bit of stretch and they’re flattering. I styled it with an oversized tee and the amazon dupe of the Jcrew sweater coatigan.
