What I Wore For A Long Weekend In Fredericksburg, TX

This past weekend we checked into a VRBO with 3 other couples we’ve been friends with since Baylor. We typically ski together every February, but this year we kept things a bit more low-key. We opted for a weekend in Texas – we all live in Texas so it was easy to travel to. Ultimately, we picked Fredericksburg to visit so that we could spend a day touring the wineries.

FUN FACT: did you know that Texas Hill Country is the second most visited wine region after Napa Valley? Crazy, right?

Fredericksburg itself has over 100 wineries and vineyards so you can truly tailor your experience to fit your needs. If you’re looking to learn more about the wineries we visited, head on over to my Instagram and check out my wineries REEL!

Today though, I’ll be sharing the outfits I wore. They’re a mix of trendy, fun, and cozy as we spend most evenings relaxing at home watching movies, playing games, and catching up.

What I Wore For A Long Weekend in Fredericksburg, TX:

TRAVEL OUTFIT –

My first outfit of the trip needed to be versatile. I needed something I could wear to work, be comfortable enough in while we drove to Fredericksburg, and then nice enough to wear out to dinner. I originally planned to change for dinner, but we all kept is casual and went to Hondos, so I stayed in my outfit. I love these trouser pants (fit TTS) and just paired them with a more fitted tee, an oversized blazer, and trendy sneakers. I’ve also been digging gold hoops, so I wore some hoops that I recently picked up at Target.

DAY OUTFIT –

We spent Friday shopping on Main Street, so I wanted to keep it casual. It was also pretty cold, so I didn’t want to wear a dress. So, I wore my favorite $25 Target jeans, this new $15 stripe tee (I went down one size), and my favorite high tops.

LOUNGE OUTFIT –

We spent a lot of time hanging at the house – catching up, watching movies on the couch, playing puzzles, etc. We also love to go on girl walks, so this outfit was perfect. This Amazon set comes with two bra top options and is super comfortable. It pairs well with this oversized sweatshirt from Amazon. After walking I traded in my leggings for these Target sweatpants.

WINERY OUTFIT –

I had originally wanted to wear a dress for our winery day, but it was quite chilly. So I opted for jeans and a fun blazer. The blazer I wore is out of stock, but this one is very similar. It was a fun look and I miraculously didn’t spill any red wine on it. The one thing I will say about this look is that the bodysuit is phenomenal. It’s thick enough that all you need to war is nippies and bonus – it sucks you in!

wide leg leggings

LOUNGE OUTFIT –

After visiting 3 wineries, we headed back to the house for pizza and lounging. These wide leg leggings are SO comfortable and fit true to size. I paired it with this longline sports bra and this oversized sweatshirt. The comfiest combo!
