There are times when investing in clothing is worth it – coats, boots, and bags to name a few. But, there are times when I just can’t justify spending a lot of money like when you’ve just had a baby and are still losing baby weight, haha. That doesn’t mean I can’t still enjoy the season’s trends though!
Over the years I’ve learned to “shop smart” when it comes to really trendy pieces. Instead of spending 100s of dollars on something you’ll only wear for one season and then give to Goodwill the next, try to create the look you want at a lower cost!
One of my favorite bloggers, Jillian Harris, is excellent at finding trendy little gems at stores like Forever21. So, for today’s look a took a little tip from Jillian and looked to see what I could find at Forever21.
Now, the trick to buying a trendy item at a store like this is to know what you’re looking for. Try flipping through your latest In Style magazine to see what some of the biggest trends are and then get to searching. I found this adorable floral print shift dress (totally digging the 70s vibe) at Forever21 and couldn’t resist it!
