Happy Tiny Tuesday! Today’s post gives me all the feels. First, um…how stinking cute are these dresses? My little nuggets felt like complete princesses wearing them. And second, these dresses were hand-made by a sweet (and very talented) friend. If you have little boys, don’t scurry off just yet because dresses are not the only thing this little shop makes. Any what is this shop you might be asking? It’s Tiny Threadz.
You can find Tiny Threadz on instagram and it’s the cutest little shop. All the apparel you find in the shop is made by the sweetest woman. This woman just happens to be the sister-in-law of my best friend, so it’s so fun to know the heart and personality behind this brand. Susan, the owner is just darling and has such a talent. Ever since the girls were babies I have loved getting items – booties, bibs, clothing, etc. – from small shops. There’s just something so heartfelt about knowing the person that took time to make your child something.
These dresses stole my heart the moment my girls put them on. Every single thing about them is so feminine and flattering – the bubble skirt is super playful, the halter is flattering, and the double bow ties in the back are just precious! My girls thought they were equally as cute, too, because they couldn’t stop dancing and running around during this shoot. Emma Grace kept parading around like a princess. Gah, I just love those nuggets.
Anyway, the great thing about a dress like this that simple and sleeveless, is that it can be worn in any type of weather. For example, it was hot here when we shot this dress, so we opted to wear it as is, which is more fitting to Texas. But, if you’re up north, then pair it with booties, a cardigan or faux fur jacket, and you’re golden!
