Fall at the Arboretum

IMG_4950

It is fall at the Dallas Arboretum and you know what that means: pumpkins, pumpkins, and more pumpkins! From September 20 – November 26, the arboretum transforms into a pumpkin lover’s heaven. There are over 65,000 pumpkins and gourds, a pumpkin patch, a pumpkin village with pumpkin houses, and lots of fun activities! Hear me moms (and dads) when I say that this is such a great activity to do with your kids! Emma and I went last week and had an absolute blast! Besides the beautiful floral and pumpkin arrangements, the pumpkin patch and pumpkin village are fun places for kids to roam around. The pumpkin patch is surrounded by hay bails, so your little one can’t run away, and guess what!? You can actually buy the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch! This was super good news for us because Emma Grace got attached to two pumpkins and carried them around for 2+ hours.

Anyway, you can click here for more information about Autumn at the Arboretum, but I highly recommend you visit. Helpful tip: week days are far less crowded. 😉

What are your favorite fall activities to do with your little one?
