Happy Monday, loves! I hope you guys had a great weekend. I think Trav and I picked the right weekend to get out of town because It sounds like a lot of you had a little blast of cold air. I know my Dallasites had temps in the 30s and my cousin who lives in OKC even got snow! Thankfully, the temps in Marfa, TX weren’t affected and we got to enjoy some sun and 80 degree days. I won’t go into too much detail about Marfa here (that’s coming later this week), but if you want to shop my Marfa closet, just click here.
Alright loves, how many of you have already embraced this scarf trend? I think it’s the cutest trend, but I was terrified to try it. I honestly didn’t feel like I was “cool” enough or “boho” enough. I also don’t wear big accessories, so I thought it might look odd or make me feel uncomfortable. But, I decided to give it a go!
I’ve tried rocking the scarf trend a couple of ways – as a headband, as an accessory on my bag, etc. But, I feel like the easiest way to embrace the scarf trend is to just wear it tied around your neck. It’s simple, chic, and acts as a statement piece.
If a scarf is a little outside of your comfort zone, find ways to make it work for your personal style. For example, I first found a scarf in my color scheme – blush tones and neutrals. Then, because I don’t typically wear a lot of patterns I opted to pair it with a really neutral jumpsuit from LOFT. I love this jumpsuit because the ruffles are just so fun and feminine and the wide legs are right on trend. Then I simple folded it and tied it in a knot leaving a simple, feminine, on trend look!
