So excited that it’s finally Thursday, which means, it’s my Friday! As you all know, I have been packing for what seems like weeks for our Italy trip next week. I typically don’t stress too much about packing because I am super type-A and create laughably detailed packing lists. But as I’ve said before, we’re going to be packing in a carry-on bag for our entire trip and that is just plain hard.
So, when it comes to deciding on what outfits to bring, I’ve been try 2 different strategies – 1) bringing monochrome, basic dresses that can be worn more than once with different types of accessories, and 2) bringing a pair of pants and/or a skirt that can be worn with multiple tops. I figure this will help me save some pace.
With that in mind, I stumbled across this adorable lace co-ord and immediately snagged it. I love how it looks together – the lace detail, the way it gives off a crop top vibe without showing too much skin, and the summer feel. What drew me to this though was that I can take this skirt to Italy with me and wear it a number of ways. I can wear it with this lace top, with a casual vneck tee, or with a tank top and white denim jacket.

Okay, and a fun story about this little Louis Vuitton bag. This bag was my mom’s and she passed it down to me when I was just a little girl. Of course when I was little I had no idea what Louis Vuitton was and thought the brown color was ugly (idiot). Now, this little bag has made a come-back in my wardrobe. It works perfectly with the small bag trend happening right now, and it will eventually be passed on to my girls. So fun, right?
