By the time this hits your inbox, we will have been camping for 3 days in a remote area outside of Silverton, CO. I grew up camping here every summer since I was little, and I look forward to coming back with my family every year.
The South Mineral campground is one of the prettiest campgrounds I’ve been to. It sits right on a river in a valley and has so many great hiking trails near by. When we’re there we typically spend our days doing short hikes, playing in the river, reading, and just relaxing.
One of the nicest things about camping in South Mineral is that it’s 30 minutes from cell phone range. So, we are literally forced to unplug and just enjoy God’s creation.
After weeks of 100+ degree days in Dallas, it’s safe to say that we will be soaking up those “high of 70” temperatures. If you go to Colorado in the summer, you are familiar with the ranges in temperature. Mornings and evenings often require leggings and a light jacket and then during the day it heats up enough to shed your layers and enjoy shorts and a tee.
As I was packing for this trip, I realized I’ve found so many good athletic finds at such affordable prices lately, that I had to share! I’ll share more pictures of these outfits in real time, but for now, I thought I’d share in case you, too, are looking for an update in your athletic wardrobe.
