Happy Hump Day, friends! I hope you’re all having a great week so far! Although mine feels a bit crazy (when does it not when you live with 2 toddlers), my parents are coming in town for the weekend. Summit is also this Saturday and I have the honor of being a workshop mentor. If you missed my instastory on what Summit is, check it out here. You can still get a ticket! About today’s look though – is it okay to wear eyelet in the Fall? The answer is a resounding yes!
Back in the day, “white after Labor Day” used to be a no-no. That is not the case anymore though. White can be worn year-round and praise the Lord because that is my favorite color to wear, haha. But, can you wear eyelet after Labor Day? Most definitely yes. How? That answer is two-fold.
If you live somewhere hot like Texas, you have a lot more options. You’ll be able to wear your eyelet dresses well into Fall simply because it still feels like summer. For the rest of you guys that already have cooler temps you’ll need to be a little more diligent on how you style an eyelet top. Use your accessories to make your eyelet top Fall-esque. Pair your eyelet top with booties, over-the-knee boots, darker colored denim, or incorporate fall trends like step hem denim. This will make your whole outfit look and feel like Fall.
