Happy Hump Day, guys! Holiday season is in full throttle and I could’t be more excited. I love the big parties and gatherings, but what I love most are the small moments. For example, yesterday the girls and I spent the afternoon decorating the outside, reading Christmas books, and listening to Michael Buble Christmas music. The reason I love this time of year so much is that it seems to seep into every area of my life. It affects the music I listen to, the way I act, and even the clothes I wear.
Thinking about clothes, have you guys planned out what you’re wearing to your holiday festivities? From holiday brunches to company Christmas parties, our calendar is filling up quick with events ranging from casual to formal. I know most people opt for red, white or emerald when deciding on an outfit, but as I’m sure you guessed, I go about it a bit differently. For me, I like to choose combinations of white on white, neutrals, or blush tones.
Typically when I think of holiday events, my mind goes right to formal Christmas parties. However, we have quite a few brunch-type gatherings this year and kid events that are most definitely casual. So, today’s look is my take on a festive feminine look for a casual outing. These legging jeans have been my go-to lately as they are super slimming and super soft. They’ll definitely keep you sucked in while you’re munching on those holiday goodies. I also LOVE this sweater from Banana Republic. Y’all, it should seriously be called a sweatshirt instead because of how soft it is on the inside. The blouson sleeves are a fun trend right now and investing in a top like this is great because it’s super versatile. For example, you could wear this top with jeans or black leggings and a fun velvet shoe. You could even style it with a pleated midi skirt. Endless options, right?
But, I am well aware we all have many different types of holiday events to attend. So, scroll down and see all my top blush picks for this holiday season!
