all black with a pop of print

At 35 weeks, people have started to ask me if it makes sense to keep buying maternity clothing. One the one hand, that is a valid question as I will only wear these clothes for another month or so. On the other hand, I’m a firm believer that if you look good and feel confident than you will feel better about yourself. Maybe that’s just me, but I always feel better when I feel put together. I will say though that my mindset in buying maternity clothing has shifted a bit as I’m nearing the end of this pregnancy. Instead of just buying anything that looks cute, I’m intentionally seeking out pieces that will transition well into those couple of weeks post-baby where nothing seems to fit. This Daniel Rainn top definitely falls into that category as their maternity line is cut specifically to be able to be worn when you’re not pregnant as well. I also like these GAP inset jeans because instead of having a full panel the inset cut just gives them a little extra stretch which will be ideal right after birth when I know I won’t be able to fit back into my pre-maternity jeans.

fall style tip: animal print is big again this fall, so add a pop of print to any outfit whether it be via your shoes, your bag, or a fun scarf!
