What’s your go-to brand for denim?
For years I’ve been on the hunt for the best denim shorts. I want a pair that’s youthful, but not too short. I want my denim to be on-trend, but not make me look like I’m trying to be 21. I want it to fit well and be comfortable at the same time. I want my denim to be well-made and last for years.
Not the easiest of tasks…
However, over the past few years I’ve determined my top brands for denim shorts. My absolute favorite brand for denim shorts is Agolde. They’re a bit on the pricey side, but well worth every penny. They are extremely well-made, will last for years, and are very flattering. They are those type of jeans that get softer and more comfortable with each wear.
Several years ago I saved up for my first pair. People raved about them and I wanted to see what the hype was about. I remember being so excited to own my first pair. Then, after several wears, I got it. The great fit, the quality, and the way they get softer with each wear sold me. I know own 4 pairs!
My second go-to brand for denim shorts is Madewell. Another brand that produces well-made shorts you’ll find yourself wearing year after year. Madewell is also a bit more cost effective compared to Agolde. Their sizing typically runs a little big (I tend to size down one), but their denim fits really well. They also get more comfortable with each wear and will stand the test of time.
The brand that’s surprised me the most over the past few years has been Abercrombie. I felt like maybe I was too old to wear their denim shorts, but y’all, they’re great! They fit really well and true to size. Their ripped denim shorts are some of my favorites to wear in the summer.
Last but not least, if I want a trendier pair of denim that I may only wear for one season, I turn to Target. Their shorts fit well and are not expensive at all – a great way to test out current fashion trends!
