Is this not the hardest time to shop for? Summer is winding down and the last thing I want to spend my money on is more swim suit or a sundress. However, it’s much too hot to even think about buying sweaters or boots. Then if you’re a working woman, you also find your style of dress in this “interim” period just as confusing. On one hand, it feels wrong to wear sandals and a short dress when summer is winding down and on the other hand, I can’t fathom wearing long sleeves in 100 degree heat.
So, to keep myself from boiling up in fall clothes, I opt to wear dresses. Dresses seem to be the easiest clothing to transition from summer to fall. Much like the dress in today’s post, you can wear an appropriate dress in the summer with sandals and then transition it to fall with booties and a denim or leather jacket if needed.
